Above The Law Expansion Rules Update
This will be our second major expansion update! This expansion will be introducing a new "patrol card" mechanic that is replicating the lingering presence of having a highly policed town. These patrol cards go on the board and are static effects that either help or hinder your interaction with the "WHO", "WHAT" or "WHERE" cards. Just make sure you on the 'right' side of the law when you decide to move forward with your agenda. Below will be a link to the rules in more details and a promotional video.
This one is a quick and easy update. From previous posts we are having some troubles but all concerns are being addressed one by one. Right now we only have one more correction before the full order. Once that is resolved we will notify all of you on here!
TooManyGames Convetion
This is a small update but just to show you who are dedicated and keep up with our updates we wanted to give a glimpse of our dedication too! We recently went to TooManyGames Convention and we were able to promote and give some live demos. In short this is top show that we are still trying to get this game out and about. If you would like to know when and where you could see us next follow our socials we still have plans for the rest of the year. Below will be some links to our socials and some photos of us at the convention!
Red Light Expansion Game Modes and Samples are In!

Red Light Expansion and Rules Update
Here is our first major expansion update! We have introduced a new mechanic that is meant to test your luck or break your bucks. In the Red Light Expansion, gambling is the new core gameplay for this expansion where everyone is competing to win the jackpot. We have a few games that can be chosen when playing the base game: Poker, Blackjack or Roulette. With each of these games there will be plenty of opportunities to get the edge on your opponents, are you willing to risk it all? There will be a promotional video that will be attached below and a link to the instructions that will go into more details of how each of those game modes work.
We are ecstatic to mention that we received our first physical copy of the game and playmat! The reason why we got them is to ensure that the final product is at the best standard we can possibly try to make it. We are currently going over all the different pieces of the game to the cards, to the box and to the instructions and so on for quality assurance. After we're done, we are going to give feedback to our manufacturer and then we will make our mass order to get the game into your hands as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for all of your patience and we will make sure to continue working on making this product better as the weeks lead up to us shipping this game out! We will end this post with some photos of the physical sample.
Good News, Bad News, and all that Jazz

Introduction
Hello all! Thank you for the long lasting support and we are here again with another update. This time we have some great news and bad news. So let's start with the bad news: we have had to delay our shipping date for the game, but we have not let this delay stop us from ensuring that our game is the best we can make it. We have completed both the expansions: The Red Light and The Above the Law Expansion. All that's left now is for us to receive our samples and confirm that the game/components are up to our high standards. We have also completed the new instruction video for the base game.
Manufacturing Delays
So the bad news is that our manufacturer has been affected by the lockdowns they have recently been enduring. Since we have been given a lot of delayed lead times for when we would be able receive any of our orders we are going to delay shipping to everyone until the month of November. If there are any changes to this decision we will update you as soon as possible since this is the last critical part to ensuring you all receive the game.
Both Expansions Are Done
Good news, we have finished QA on The Above the Law Expansion! This post will mark the end of overall development and we are excited to start moving all of our efforts to logistics to get this game to you all in a timely manner. Look out for future posts that will go over each of the expansions in more detail since we will make separate posts for each of them and what they contribute to the gameplay. We have made the final designs for the deck box art that will be holding each of the expansions. Below this will be the two expansions box arts side by side.
Both the The Red Light Expansion & Above the Law Expansion Deck Box Designs
Instructions Update
Last but not least, we have a new instructions video that we would like to share with you all. This link will be going into details of the base game. Along with that there will be links to our games instruction and our steam workshop for the game.
As always if you have any questions or concerns please message us on Kickstarter or email us at [email protected]
The Big Update and the Above The Law Reveal

Introduction :)
The base game art is done, the rules have been updated and the game has been sent to our manufacturer to create our first physical sample.
New Game Rules & Tabletop Simulator Information
Good news everyone, we have now got a huge update for the game. As stated in our previous posts we are refining the game rules along with game play, so the user experience is better overall.
What is new: We have increased the replayability and balance of the game by adjusting both the player agendas and the noir deck which has lead to an updated game layout. We have created an agenda deck, so that agendas are no longer player dependent. This change allows player to experience new and varied agendas that can change from game to game. We have created a second new deck called the informant deck. By pulling the informants from the noir deck to create a new deck we both improve your hand and ensure that players will always have an informant unless they get killed off and you have to find a replacement. The last new deck is also cards we have separated from the noir deck and they are the scene change cards. We have made them into their own deck and with this deck you will show the top card when you attempt a scene change and these card can help, hinder, or not effect your scene change attempt. The final major change is that we now start with Title Cards at the beginning to create an opening scene and ensure that no one wins turn one of the game.
Updated Game Layout Example
If you are interested in all the new rules here is a link to see all the changes we made. Stay tuned for the next update for an instructional video for the base game!
Any and all changes along with current rules that are being used will be reflected on our Tabletop Simulator version. We keep this up to date and we would like to offer this to anyone who is interested in playing our game early.
We are glad to announce the final WHO / WHAT / WHERE cards for the Above The Law Expansion! The cards we will be adding are "The Vigilante" another WHO character that you will be able to play in the game. "The Stakeout" another WHAT card that will be added as well. Along with "The Interrogation Room" that will be the WHERE card. That is not all though, we have decided to include a new informant card called “The Philanthropist”. It is a bit odd we have never seen them and the Vigilante in the same room before. The video below will go over some of the art for these cards.
Again we could have never done this without any of your help. Every time we have a meeting we could not be any more grateful to know that there are so many people who enjoy the concept of our game and want to be a part of our community. If you have any questions or concerns please send us a message on Kickstarter or an email at [email protected]
