We have less than 38 hours left in our Kickstarter and everyone here on Kickstarter has made this game an amazing success. As we approach the end we would like to thank everyone for all your help and generosity.  We also spent some time and made a fun little cinematic video for you film noir lovers out there!

The Red Light is ON! Thank you everyone for helping us meet our community goal of unlocking The Red Light Expansion for all backers of the game! Not only did we unlock the expansion for all, but we also have added the Previously Pluto Hat to Kickstarter as an Add-Ons (Check FAQ on how to add an Add-On). The Previously Pluto Hat is $25 with no extra shipping cost, first run limited! 

To celebrate the 24 hour countdown to the end of our Kickstarter we are hosting Previously Pluto Presents: The Big Shuffle Twitch Streaming Extravaganza. We will be hanging out and streaming Film Noir movies and games, playing the Tabletop Simulator version of the game, interviewing the members of the team, and much more!

Only Hours to Go, what's next?

Just like any classic Film Noir, there has to be a dramatic finale. It has been a wild ride, and we have been so thankful for everyone's support and feedback! We are only 2.6k away from our next stretch goal, a community goal, which unlocks The Red Light Expansion for everyone! Not only that, we will also unlock the Pluto Hat as an add-on as a limited loot run! We have some major plans, just as bold and brash as those movie detectives, for our last 48 hrs. So stay tuned, don't change that radio dial, and support us to the end of this amazing campaign and community! 

Playmat Add-On and Art Update:

Playmats are now available as an add-on through Kickstarter! You can add it to your pledge today and help us get closer to our next stretch goal!

Just like the card art, we want to make a quality playmat that reflects the mood and atmosphere of Film Noir. Here are more sketches/refinements to the different rows (uptown, midtown, and downtown) that will be represented as horizontal zones on the playmat.

The Red Light Expansion Update:

Who - The Madam: an entrepreneur, a cultured study, and dominant force in the underworld. We have a general sense of what she will look like based on your feedback and artist refinement, but now we are on to the composition stage. This stage is where we define the best framing of our character that helps reinforce her personality and strong design (giving her some strong Lady D vibes for the Resident Evil Fans out there). 

We also have a new Informant, What, and Where cards in the works for the new expansion that we will be sharing here as we progress.  In fact, we already have few ideas for our new Where: The Black Market, The Slums, or The Casino. What do you think of these Where options? What "Where" would you like to see in the Red Light Expansion?

Stretch Goal #5 Reached, Playmat Unlocked! Bringing the Big City to the Small Table!

Thank you everyone for the support! We have reached our 5th stretch goal, unlocking The Big City Playmat! With this playmat, we are able to create distinct zones for each row (uptown, midtown, and downtown) for improved visibility and gameplay.  We are also currently in the process of designing the playmat's art and have some thumbnails we would like to share:

We want to make the playmat art quality just as good as our card art and will be sharing updates here on Kickstarter with our progress.  For the physical details of the playmat, we have decided on a neoprene material and the size dimensions are still being determined by our manufacturer.  Again, thank you everyone for the support and here is hoping for the next big stretch goal-- unlocking The Red Light Expansion for all and access to the Previously Pluto Hat as an add-on!

 Out with the old year, in with the new year! Looking back, we have come a long way from our basic home printed prototype to our current game in 2022. With your continued support, we plan to dress up The Big Shuffle to the nines (best card quality, linen finishes, foil edges)! 

We are also very close to hitting our next stretch goal, The Big City Playmat. The playmat will be a neoprene mat that you can roll up. Our background designs are still in development, however when we finish our first thumbnail later this week we plan to share it with the community for a vote!

The Red Light Expansion from Concept to Card Art

Introducing "The Red Light Expansion," an add-on that enhances the base game and adds new cards themed around the seedier aspects of the city.
